Sports World News of Sunday, 9 October 2016Source: goal.comWas Rooney REALLY that bad against Malta? England captain Wayne Rooney in actionThere have been few bigger talking points than the form of Wayne Rooney so far this season. That did not stop interim England coach Gareth Southgate, however, from handing the captain's armband back to Rooney for the visit of Malta to Wembley on Saturday. Rooney was generally efficient in possession, completing 87% of his passes, but was again surpassed by Henderson (93%) in that regard and lost possession 23 times, more than any other England player. Despite seemingly lining up as the holding midfield player behind Rooney and Dele Alli, Henderson actually ended up having a higher average position than Rooney, with only the two centre-backs and goalkeeper playing deeper than the skipper.

Business News of Saturday, 8 October 2016Source: Business in CameroonThe ANP preoccupied by transit delays at the Port of DoualaThe National Port Authority preoccupied by transit delays at the Port of DoualaAccording to the National Port Authority (APN), the transit time for goods at the Port of Douala increased during 2015. Indeed, we learned, this performance indicator was on average around 18.08 days (against 17.27 days in 2014), “in any case, far from the 7-days indicator for imports and 2-days for exports, which is the one in the port reform”, APN highlighted. Beyond these grievances noted by APN, the Cameroonian Customs Administration is always complaining about the fact that economic operators are transforming the Douala Port area in a warehouse. Indeed, due to the low fee price be paid by importers stocking their goods at the port beyond the 10 days allowed by the law for economic operators to go through the clearance process, some goods are left at the even beyond 90 days. In practical terms, explains an authorised source, beyond the 10-day clearance, economic operators pay for a container a sum of “FCfa 600 per day of additional storage within the port, against FCfa 3,800 per day for a vehicle left at the airport parking, for example”.

Such is the observation made by Michel Ngapanoun, in a communiqué posted on the website of the company Hygiène et salubrité du Cameroun (Hysacam). According to him, in addition to making the rubbish collection et removal difficult, this act of incivility from Cameroonian populations is creating important losses for Hysacam, whose waste bins often cost up to FCfa 150,000 per unit, we learned. Indeed, for several months now, Hysacam started spreading throughout the cities where it holds a contract, plastic rubbish bins, whose capacity is between 120 and 360 litres.
