Simon Nfor Ngwa, was fished out of a public transport bus at the Mabonji police check point on the Kumba-Buea Road. The Post was unable to confirm if the Southern Cameroons Passport was retained at the police station or given back to Ngwa at the time of his release. Within the ranks of the Southern Cameroon National Council, Ngwa is said to occupy the position of National Youth Officer. In Kumba, security measures kept public manifestations at bay.
