HSC, equivalent exam results tomorrow

For technical board results, the students will have to enter HSC [space] Tec [space] Roll Number [space] 2023 and send it to 16222. A total of 13,59,342 students were registered for the HSC and equivalent exams.

Teen house aide’s hanged body found in Dhaka
Police were informed about the matter over the phone, said Noor Mohammad, chief of Shahbagh Police Station. Fatema’s body was recovered and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where she was declared dead around 4:30 am, he said. He claimed Fatema had committed suicide. Police came and took the body to DMCH, where she was then declared dead. Asked why Fatema would have committed suicide, Shahedi said, that Fatema had a romantic relationship with a boy.

2 Indian nationals killed in Satkhira road accident
SATKHIRA, Nov 25, 2023 (BSS) - Two Indian nationals were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a private car in front of the BGB camp in Taltala area under Sadar upazila of the district today. The deceased were identified as Asim Kumar Biswas hailing from Siliguri in India and Chobi Biswas, hailing from Karimpur in India. Locals said a Satkhira-bound private car from Khulna collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction in the area around 8 am this morning, leaving two dead on the spot and another injured. The injured was admitted to Satkhira Sadar Hospital, Deputy Assistant Director of Satkhira Fire Service Station Md. The bodies were sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue, he added.

Three labourers crushed to death by lorry in Chattogram
Three labourers have been killed after they were crushed by a container-bearing lorry in Chattogram’s Mirsharai. Possible cyclone brewing as Met Office forecasts low over Bay of Bengal
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicts a severe cyclone might develop from a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. The low is expected to form over the South Andaman Sea by Sunday, which could strengthen and potentially become a severe cyclone by Nov 30 or Dec 1, Meteorologist Omar Faruq told bdnews24.com on Friday. The weather forecast indicates that the usual seasonal low pressure is currently over the South Bay and extends to the North Bay. The Indian media said an unusually warm Indian Ocean paved the way for the possible cyclonic storm heading towards the West Bengal coast, the fourth one this year.

BNP man among four arrested in sabotage caseDHAKA, Nov 24, 2023 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested four persons, including a BNP activist, from different areas of the capital in a sabotage case. The arrested are Office Secretary of DSCC Ward No 24 unit of BNP Mohammad Rahatul Islam, 55, Shah Alam Golap, 45, Md Shamchul Islam, 46, and Jinnatul Islam Majumdar, 44. Confirming the matter, Deputy Director of RAB-10 Aminul Islam today told BSS that acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-10 arrested them from Demra, Kotwali, Bangshal and Lalbagh areas of the capital on Thursday night. The RAB official said that during preliminary interrogation, the arrested have admitted their involvement in various sabotage plans. He said that the arrested have been handed over to the respective police stations.
