The official suggested that businesses in the field design more adventure tours to unlock the tourism potential of the Con Dao National Park. Visitors to Con Dao can explore a wide selection of tours and services in terms of cultural, spiritual, historic, and eco tourism, with the adoption of digital technology, according to Chu Hong Minh, vice-president of the Con Dao Tourism Association. The tourism authority in Con Dao seeks to trial the use of renewable energy at local resorts and tourist sites. Hang added that Con Dao would be able to develop sustainable tourism with low carbon emissions in the near future.

According to the Hạ Long Bay Management Board, out of the nearly 1.5 million visitors to the bay in the northern province of Quảng Ninh, there were nearly 1 million foreigners. In 2023, Hạ Long Bay welcomed about 2.6 million visitors, of which the number of international and domestic visitors was equal. As the locality has become more attractive to tourists, especially foreign, ticket sales to visit Hạ Long bay is expected to return to the threshold of VNĐ1 trillion in 2024. In mid-2023, C04 uncovered a happy water drug operation, arresting 17 people and seizing 217kg of synthetic drugs. They later arrested 18 year old Bùi Trung Nguyên, in HCM City, seizing 3kg of synthetic drugs and production equipment. Persistent use of synthetic drugs can lead to psychosis and impaired behaviours, posing risks to users and those around them. In 2023, nearly 1,500 synthetic drug users experienced psychosis, resulting in 30 criminal cases.

On the Hồ Chí Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), the VN-Index rose 0.29 points, or 0.02 per cent, to close the trading session at 1,279.79 points. The 30 biggest stocks tracker, the VN30-Index, climbed 4.33 points, or 0.33 per cent, to 1,314.22 points. Vingroup Joint Stock Company (VIC) posted a decrease of 1.43 per cent, Sabeco (SAB) was down 2.52 per cent and the Vietnam Rubber Group - Joint Stock Company (GVR) lost 1.03 per cent. Foreign investors extended their net selling spree as they net sold over VNĐ1.5 trillion on the HoSE.

HÀ NỘI — The police are warning about the imminent arrival of fentanyl in Việt Nam, a synthetic opioid 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times more powerful than morphine. Additionally, China, a major source of precursor chemicals used in fentanyl production, also raises concerns about potential local manufacturing. Despite the current lack of fentanyl being detected in Việt Nam, the police are taking proactive measures. "If a drug-related death occurs in Việt Nam and it is caused by fentanyl, the police must trace the origin of the drug to find out where and from whom it was purchased. Fentanyl's classification under Group II of Việt Nam's narcotics regulations allows limited use for medical and research purposes, but only under strict supervision.

Shipments of canned tuna products, bagged tuna and frozen loin/fillet increased by 44%, 24%, and 7%. She said localities and other competent agencies needed to implement well checking hygiene and food safety conditions of fishing vessels and fishing ports in line with Government regulations.
