By Noble BrighamLas Vegas Review-JournalLAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas man arrested Saturday after authorities said he was found with loaded guns outside a California rally for former President Donald Trump filed a federal lawsuit against the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday, alleging officers violated his constitutional rights. Vem Miller, 49, was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges: possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine. The officer had him pull over, according to the lawsuit, and another officer instructed Miller to get out of his vehicle. An officer “then proceeded to conduct an unlawful and unconstitutional search of all compartments of the vehicle,” the suit claimed. —©2024 Las Vegas Review-Journal.

This is expected to be a high-turnout election. It’s better to vote early and avoid the crowds. The period is nearly two weeks long, so it should be easy to find a convenient time to vote. It’s better to wait until Election Day, just in case any last-minute information comes out. It’s more exciting to vote on Election Day, and it’s also more traditional.

Furthermore, the lack of transgender status monitoring can limit the accuracy of our interpretations and calculations regarding medication safety11. To ease this burden, more high-quality education for healthcare professionals oriented to patient safety is needed. This concept can be applied to the use or desired use of hormone therapies in transgender patients. This demonstrates the importance of building an open dialogue in healthcare in the interests of patient-centred safety and care. Ultimately, it is time to recognise that trans-inclusive care is person-centred care, and therefore the outcomes and safety of this population are everyone’s responsibility.

The city should shift its focus, he said, from supportive housing construction to giving homeless and at-risk Angelenos money to help pay their rent on the private market. She plans to discuss the report next month in the housing and homelessness committee she chairs. That means episodes of homelessness would be rare and brief and anyone who needed a shelter bed could access one. His research indicates that supportive housing projects funded with construction union labor and other mandates cost about $100,000 more per unit than what the housing department is estimating. City officials are recommending a continuation of an apartment construction ban in areas zoned for single-family homes, nearly three-quarters of L.A.’s residential land.

The billionaire’s super PAC is using an old-school strategy heavy on door-knocking and mail shots — but Musk’s erratic management style has caused problems. It was part of the uniform issued by America PAC, a super PAC formed by billionaire Elon Musk to campaign for former president Donald Trump. Determined Trump supporters like McMillan, who are paid about $20 to $40 an hour, are the backbone of Musk’s plan to elect Trump. This month, America PAC absorbed the staff of another pro-Trump committee in Wisconsin, Turning Point, with the goal of maximizing turnout in the state. She was fired as a result, she said, but shortly after was hired by another America PAC vendor to canvass in Wisconsin and Georgia.

Over the past two weeks, headlines have trumpeted choice bits from Bob Woodward’s new book, “War”: How then-President Donald Trump secretly sent coronavirus test machines to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In Ukraine, Woodward describes a team at peak tactical performance. The Biden team views its subsequent management of the conflict as no less impressive. The keystone of that containment was a crisis in autumn 2022 over the potential use of a Russian nuclear weapon. This book’s prologue is based on a hitherto “lost” tape of a 1989 interview with Trump by Woodward and his Watergate partner, Carl Bernstein.
