Alexander Wright and Phil Grainger are touring their show Orpheus around New Zealand. This Orpheus is an adaptation of a classic Greek myth riffing on love and loss through a mix of poetry, theatre, and soul music. Other recent reimaginings include acclaimed author Neil Gaiman in his Sandman comic book series, as well as The New Zealand Dance Company and choreographer Michael Parmenter's 2018 dance opera OrphEus.
