Invercargill Ratepayers Advocacy Group spokesperson Nobby Clark has confirmed he will seek election as a councillor in October. Clark felt the group has had little impact which prompted his decision to run for council. Clark will continue in his role as the Invercargill Ratepayers Advocacy Group spokesperson in the lead up to the election. He declined to provide a number when asked how many members the Ratepayers Advocacy Group. Clark joins former city council staffer Kari Grabber as people, outside of current councillors, who have confirmed they intended to run for the city council this year.
