Web3 (or Web 3.0) will revolutionize the way we use the internet by incorporating decentralization via blockchain technology. Some believe it will change the internet the way bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptos have altered the financial paradigm. Web1 allowed you to consume internet content, but little else. Internet websites were static and non-interactive; you could merely send simple one-way messages or emails. Web3 is a decentralized version of the internet that allows users to own their own data.

Photo Illustration by Thomas Levinson/The Daily Beast/Getty/ReutersVladimir Putin’s spokesperson promised fireworks in the run up to remarks from the Russian president late Monday night in Moscow. Putin, however, did not deliver. Kremlin mouthpiece Dmitry Peskov had said, “These statements, without exaggeration, will determine the fate of Russia.” But, nope. A pale, gaunt-looking Putin instead spoke for just a few minutes. But the most substantive part of his remarks were not what he said but, rather, what he did not say.

Axiom-2 pilot John Shoffner recently returned to Earth after spending 10 days in orbit on the International Space Station. He said he learned a lot and is excited to share his passion for space exploration with young people. So I spent literally my entire life thinking about what it would be like to be in space, to go to space,” he said. But the continued effort to develop aviation just as now we want to develop space flight in the economy of low earth orbit there has to be a beginning.

Google will be deprecating support for sitemaps ping and the endpoint will stop working by the end of this year. Google said it is announcing the “deprecation of the sitemaps “ping” endpoint.” This means that HTTP ping requests will result in a 404 error. Google said the sitemap protocol defines an unauthenticated REST method for submitting sitemaps to search engines. Google said you can still submit your sitemaps through both Google Search Console and also through your robots.txt files. This is just a heads up that the ping sitemap endpoint support is going away later this year.

The CAR government has a very close relationship with the Wagner Group, which has built a spider's web of military and economic relationships over the past five years in a number of African countries, including Libya, Sudan and Mali. In CAR alone, Russia has—over the last five years—sent weapons and hundreds of military advisers and Wagner mercenaries as an extension of the government’s security forces. The Wagner fighters have been intimidating locals and targeting citizens opposed to the private military company’s presence, while also exploiting the country’s mineral resources. Published at 6:45 pm, June 25, 2023Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that the brief and chaotic insurrection in Russia led by the Wagner paramilitary group shows “cracks” in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s role as a leader of the country. “This is just an added chapter to a very, very bad book that Putin has written for Russia. Prigozhin on Friday openly accused Russia’s military of attacking a Wagner camp and killing a “huge amount” of his men. Compounding that surprise was the swiftness of the deal that was struck to cease the insurrection. “We assessed it was going to be a great deal more violent and bloody,” the official told CNN.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Prigozhin's troops who joined him in the uprising will not face prosecution and those who did not will be offered contracts by the Defense Ministry. After the deal was reached Saturday, Prigozhin ordered his troops to halt their march on Moscow and retreat to field camps in Ukraine, where they have been fighting alongside Russian troops. (AP Photo)The latest on the aftermath of the armed rebellion declared by Russian mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin:——There are still no reports of mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin arriving in Belarus after he reached a deal with the Kremlin to go into exile and ended his rebellion. It said that “the Lukashenko-negotiated deal is a short-term fix, not a long-term solution, and Prigozhin’s rebellion exposed severe weaknesses” in the Kremlin and the Russian Defense Ministry. The Kremlin's apparent surprise at Prigozhin's rebellion also doesn't reflect well on the FSB, Russia's domestic intelligence service, it added.

Marvel’s Avengers is almost dead, so now’s the perfect time to jump on what might be the superhero game’s final ever Steam sale before it’s delisted forever. With years of updates, characters, and changes under its belt Marvel’s Avengers is certainly worth playing after a colossal discount, but act fast. I’m a staunch defender of Marvel’s Avengers. All that said, Marvel’s Avengers shutting down does make sense. In fact, the creative director of Lords of the Fallen was part of a Marvel’s Avengers support studio, and he apologized for what happened to the game.
