Chen Lin/ReutersMega-successful Chinese fast fashion retailer Shein, long plagued by allegations of terrible conditions for workers, and most recently, forced labor allegations—appears to have rolled out a new PR strategy: sending Instagram influencers on sponsored trips to China to tour a high-end Shein supplier warehouse. The tour, followed by “an epic night cruise to admire Guangzhou’s amazing skyline,” is prompting content creators to regurgitate company lines to their hundreds of thousands of followers. “Kicking off the trip by heading into the factory of the leading manufacturer for Shein was the perfect way to start,” beauty influencer Dani DMC says in an Instagram reel she posted documenting her Shein trip. “I was really excited and impressed to see the working conditions. “She told me about her family, her lifestyle, her commute, her hours.”Read more at The Daily Beast.

However, President Wickremesinghe highlights the need for improved interaction between the committee and debtors during the restructuring process, suggesting that a new approach is necessary. So what is your view about the restructuring process and what do you consider to be the main bottlenecks? When Sri Lanka was declared bankrupt as a middle-income country, we were not eligible under the common framework for debt restructuring. Therefore, Sri Lanka’s response was to take ownership of this programme, both for debt restructuring as well as the economic restructuring needed for growth. Looking at the dealing with the Paris Club and non-Paris Club, we need a new approach because this is basically a geopolitical issue.

When I told friends and family I was reporting on the first chicken meat grown from animal cells, their first comment was “Eww." Yes, it's strange to think of eating a totally new kind of meat — chicken that doesn't come from a chicken, meat that will be sold as “cell-cultivated” chicken after the U.S. Agriculture Department on Wednesday gave the green light to two California firms, Upside Foods and Good Meat. And in this case, to the larger question behind it: Is this new material in fact chicken, or is it an impostor? Last week, I visited the Alameda, California, plant where Good Meat is poised to begin production of its chicken products. And the texture was both tender and chewy, like a well-cooked chicken thigh should be.

Players have long joked about Eve Online being a “spreadsheet simulator,” but it seems that CCP Games is taking this reputation as an organization-heavy experience to the next level. The Icelandic developer first announced the integration of Excel earlier this week, going on to fully implement Microsft’s program in Eve Online just one day later. “Information is power” reads a mantra that the Eve Online developers have been working by. Their game’s new Excel tool enables you to access and analyze your data across every account and character you own.
