‘Pixel Pass’ is Google’s rumored response to Apple One
Google seems poised to announce a new subscription bundle called “Pixel Pass,” which would combine a new Pixel device with an extended warranty and premium subscriptions for several Google services. It’s unclear how much Pixel Pass would cost, but the documents suggest it will be sold via Google Fi and the Google Store alongside the purchase of a Pixel device. Pixel Pass might also offer a discount compared to paying for the services individually, though there’s currently no indication of how much Pixel Pass might cost. There’s no mention of which Pixel phones the Pixel Pass will be offered with. But given the Pixel 6 event is coming on October 19th, it seems likely that Pixel Pass will be introduced as an accompaniment for the new flagship smartphone.

Speeding car crashes into parked truck and bursts into flames
A speeding car crashed into the back of a truck, parked near the TV Derana recording studio in the Delkanda area on the High-Level Road, before bursting into flames and destroying both vehicles in the fire last night. The truck, which had transported production equipment required for the recording of a TV programme at the studio, had been parked on the roadside as workers were onloading the equipment from the truck. Following the crash, the car in question had caught fire with flames also spreading to the truck. Both vehicles as well as the equipment stored inside the truck were completely destroyed in the fire. The driver of the car and a passenger have been admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital with injuries.
