Earlier today Xiaomi announced a partnership with Leica, which spelled the end for the long lasting cooperation between the camera maker and Huawei (since 2016). This means that the P50 and P50 Pro are the last Huawei phones with Leica cameras. The P50 Pocket skipped the Leica branding, despite launching in December last year (months before the partnership officially ended). This means that the Huawei Mate 50, whenever it may appear, will also go with an unbranded camera.
