Pakistan is blessed with a young population, with more than 60% of its citizens under the age of 30. A “Founder University” model should integrate venture labs, seed funding, mentorship programs, and strong industry partnerships. Pakistani youth often fear failure due to social stigma, yet failure is the most effective teacher for founders. Sharing success stories, organizing mentorship programs, and conducting innovation competitions can inspire young people to create rather than wait. These initiatives are supported through innovation labs, mentorship programs, and industry collaborations, giving students the opportunity to transform academic projects into market-ready products.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s articulation of the farmer as “the benefactor of the entire country” is not merely symbolic. It signals a policy philosophy that recognizes agriculture as the backbone of Pakistan’s economy and rural society. The vision of prosperous farmers in Punjab is, in effect, a vision of national prosperity. Increased farmer autonomy strengthens food security, stabilizes prices, and reduces rural-urban migration driven by agricultural distress. If sustained and scaled, this farmer-centric revolution can become a model for the entire country restoring dignity to the farmer, vitality to agriculture, and confidence to Pakistan’s rural heartland.
