Gulf nations poised to invest billions in Pakistan: US media report
Islamabad established this summer the Special Investment Facilitation Council, which includes the army chief, to smooth the bureaucratic path for Gulf investment. “For the Gulf, Pakistan and Egypt are a regional security priority,” said Karen E. Young, a researcher at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy. Pakistan will also have to manage competition between Gulf nations for assets, already being felt, especially between Saudi Arabia and UAE, which have strained relations. In July, Saudi Arabia said it would buy a $2.5 billion stake in Brazilian mining company Vale, also through the same fund and Ma’aden. His grandfather, George Varnadoe Jr., released a statement on Facebook that Caleb collapsed while working out with the team. “Caleb was an honor student, very respectful, high intellect, excellent role model, phenomenal basketball player ranked 25 in the nation,” Varnadoe said. Love you man.”Pinson Valley High School Principal Michael Turner released a statement to parents regarding the incident. Please keep the student’s family and our school in your prayers.”Center Point Fire and Rescue responded to the high school and administered aid.

White House launches AI contest to secure government systems
"Cybersecurity is a race between offense and defense," said Anne Neuberger, the US government's deputy national security advisor for cyber and emerging technology. "We know malicious actors are already using AI to accelerate identifying vulnerabilities or build malicious software," she added in a statement to Reuters. He said his agency had seen AI being used for everything from creating phishing emails and writing malicious computer code to spreading disinformation. "Our goal with the DARPA AI challenge is to catalyze a larger community of cyber defenders who use the participating AI models to race faster – using generative AI to bolster our cyber defenses," Neuberger said. The Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF), a US group of experts trying to improve open source software security, will be in charge of ensuring the "winning software code is put to use right away," the US government said.

The situation in Haryana is worsening by the day as reports now reveal that diktats are now being issued against Muslims so that they are boycotted as members of the community and their entry into the villages is barred. PTI supporters in UK harass judge who convicted Imran
Humayun Dilawar, a district and sessions court judge who convicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case, is reportedly facing harassment at the hands of PTI supporters in the United Kingdom. The current cohort of participants, including judge Dilawar, was chosen by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the high courts of Islamabad and Peshawar. This incident of harassment is not the first time that PTI supporters have engaged in such actions overseas. Celebrating independence
In a few days, Pakistan’s 76 Independence Day will be celebrated. Pakistan and Pakistanis have already established some traditions and unique ways of celebrating its Independence Day–a day which is special only to them, their visitors, guests and friends. But there is indeed a large amount of common denominators, and they must be talked about and celebrated on Independence Day; yes, even common struggles must be since a country can only be built when people lift and struggle together. Pakistan has a high number of citizens working abroad, some eight million, with half of them in the Persian Gulf. For Pakistan, Independence Day is a day to be proud and happy for all the small things, and the big things that everyone can enjoy, not the least the children and youth who will build the New Land.

It becomes imperative for the government to adopt a proactive approach in addressing communal tensions and ensuring the safety of all citizens. The need for transparent investigations and adherence to due process cannot be understated, as arbitrary actions further fuel communal tensions and hinder the path to reconciliation. Only through concerted efforts to foster unity, mutual respect, and dialogue can India overcome the menace of religious intolerance and pave the way for a harmonious coexistence.
