The firm stated that its product was designed to redistribute funds to users and support social good in their communities. If there are enough innovative ideas being generated in an organization, there may not be a need for new, replacement or substitutionary talent. People treat leadership with suspicion when there is evidence of the “aayo” syndrome in talent management. A former Indian politician, Atiq Ahmed convicted of kidnapping has been shot dead live on TV along with his brother, Ashraf Ahmed. Ahmed’s teenage son was shot dead by police days earlier. Dozens of cases, including kidnapping, murder and extortion, were registered against Atiq Ahmed over the past two decades. The video showed Ahmed and his brother, Ashraf, both in handcuffs, speaking to journalists on the way to a medical check-up at a hospital seconds before they were both shots. In the footage, shared widely on social media and TV channels, Ahmed is asked whether he attended his son’s funeral.

The National Population Commission has revealed plans to insure ad hoc workers, who will serve as enumerators for next month’s census amid the resurgence of insecurity in different parts of the country. “For this 2023 census, we are deploying over 800,000 ad hoc staff members. The NPC is assuring Nigerians that the 2023 census will hold on May 3 to May 5, 2023. Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, several Senators-elect have begun lobbying for presidency of the Senate. But given its preeminent status in the bicameral federal legislature, who emerges the 10th Senate president also becomes the chair of the national parliament. The highest position the regions have produced is Deputy Senate President. Today, many believe that it’s politically deserving to allow the South-south geo-political zone produce the 10th Senate President in this new democratic dispensation. The Kano State Commissioner of Religious Affairs, Dr Muhammad Nazifi Bichi has said that the Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two people, Baffa Hotoro and Habib Haroun, over alleged blasphemous statements they uttered against the personality of Noble Prophet Muhammad. He disclosed that the arrested persons are currently in security custody, undergoing interrogation over the alleged defamation they have committed. He added that the Kano State government has ordered for the discreet investigation to be carried out as part of the processes to prosecute them before the Court of law. He said, “It is blasphemy to make any derogatory statement against Prophet of Islam. He stressed that Kano State Government will soon establish Law to screen and guide public preaching, lamenting that the cases of blasphemy are worrisome.

Former Super Eagles striker, Ishola Shuaibu, expressed his sadness over the death of ex-midfielder, Emmanuel Ebiede. Ebiede, who was just 47, passed away at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital in Port Harcourt on Friday after suffering from Hepatomegaly. Shuaibu, who also played under Bora Milutinovic in the Super Eagles, spoke with The Guardian and expressed his pain at the loss of Ebiede at such a young age. “I always tell my colleagues to find time to rest and eat well after a stressful training. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has called on Nigeria government to add health to Exclusive budget list. Molumbo reiterated that WHO is looking forward to a world where health will be seen as enabler, socioeconomic development and not a consumption goods, a world where health issues will be treated as human rights. “We look to a world where health issues will be considered the same way they consider security and developmental issues. “We are working to eradicate polio globally mostly as an opportunity for us to remember why WHO was established and there was a constitution which is based on human rights approach”. We want to use it to remind the world that nothing can bite physical exercise especially as we are seeing demographic transition people are living longer , we need to adapt and adjust to health system and health issues of WHO”.

In reality, Hajj Camp in Borno State is a centre for processing tens of thousands of jihadists, their families and those who lived under their control. Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau died after rivals Iswap invaded his hideout, demanding he pledge allegiance. More than 90 000 people formerly associated with Boko Haram and, to a much lesser extent, Iswap defected. She said Boko Haram “only preach and kill those who use drugs”.
