Scores feared killed in Boko Haram, ISWAP clash
About 70 combatants and commanders were killed in a clash between Boko Haram and its rival terrorist group, ISWAP on Saturday. Starship test flight makes progress, but ship and booster explode
The second test launch of SpaceX’s Starship got off to a successful start Saturday, with the booster separating from the spaceship, but both then exploded shortly after over the ocean. Unlike the previous such attempt in April, the booster rocket separated successfully from the mega ship, but then blew up, followed shortly by the spaceship itself. “Congrats to the teams who made progress on today’s flight test,” he said on X, formerly Twitter. “As you could see, the Super Heavy Booster has just experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly; however, our ship is still underway,” an announcer said. – Design changes –SpaceX was forced to blow up Starship during its first test flight four minutes after launch on April 20, because the two stages failed to separate.

Naira steadies in parallel market, hits N791.75/$1 in official market

The appreciation represents a N49.39 gain or a 5.24% increase in the local currency compared to the N841.14 it closed on Thursday. The move, experts say, is expected to bring relief to the naira, the business community, and the economy at large.
