But unlike other summer standbys, like frozen Margaritas or elderflower spritzes , Limonada Suiça has a certain decadence. It’s light, thanks to the bright, pithy aromatics of the lime peels, but it’s also creamy, capable of transcending well past warm-weather drinking. Perhaps with a few adjustments, the rich but light-on-its-feet Limonada Suiça is just what we need to cut through the heavy, nog-laden winter. To give the drink an appropriately festive air, consider a Limonada Suiça Ramos created by Leanne Favre, of Brooklyn, New York’s Leyenda. At Leyenda, leftover lime peels are used instead of lemon, for a slightly more bitter version.

North Korea said Wednesday it had succeeded in putting a military spy satellite in orbit after two previous failures, as the United States led its allies in condemning the launch as a “brazen violation” of UN sanctions. North Korea’s previous efforts to put a spy satellite into orbit in May and August both failed. KCNA said it was North Korea’s “legitimate right” to launch the satellite, as the country confronts what it calls threats from South Korea and the United States. “If North Korea carries out additional provocations, our military will immediately and strongly punish any provocations,” he told a briefing. – ‘Confidence in success’ –Seoul has been saying for weeks that Pyongyang was in the final stages of preparation for another attempted spy satellite launch.

The field for the Concacaf Nations League semifinals is set as Mexico advanced past Honduras winning 4-2 in a penalty shootout after their 2-0 victory in regulation leveled the aggregate in the tie. A missed penalty by Andy Najar sealed it but it was a match that had drama from start to finish. Despite how close Mexico were to crashing out, the resilience that was shown during the match is critical. That's more than Canada can say after losing to Jamaica but the Canucks will at least have a second chance at making the Copa America via the playoff round between the four losers from these quarterfinal matches. The Nations League semifinals will take place in March of 2024 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX while Copa America will be held in the U.S. between June 20-July 14, 2024.
