The sole survivor of a fiery Tesla Cybertruck crash that killed three wealthy college students has sued the carmaker, claiming a design flaw trapped him inside the burning vehicle. The driver, Soren Dixon, 19, and two other passengers, Krysta Tsukahara, 19, and Jack Nelson, 20, died in the crash. Miller has filed a lawsuit against Tesla claiming the Cybertruck's design trapped its occupants inside the burning vehicle and blocked their rescue, his lawyers from The Veen Firm announced on Tuesday. The lawsuit alleged that the truck's door handles, which rely on electronic buttons powered by the vehicle's low-voltage electrical system, failed to open after the collision. This lawsuit is about what Tesla knew and what Tesla designed.'

Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners on Wednesday to seal a place in the Champions League in the quarter-finals. Arne Slot's side were wasteful as they suffered a 1-0 defeat in Istanbul last week, but it was a different story in the second leg at Anfield. Goals from Szoboszlai, Hugo Ekitike, Ryan Gravenberch and Mo Salah gave Liverpool a comprehensive win, and they'll now take on Paris Saint-Germain in the last eight. "I spoke to a couple of guys in Turkey, this is usual like after the game you celebrate, doesn't matter if there is a second leg after. Can Liverpool win the Champions League?

Earlier this week, a shaheed kamikaze drone hit a fuel tank less than a mile from the terminal. So many foreigners find themselves 'Detained in Dubai' that an entire organisation bearing that name has been set up to assist them. The opaque Dubai Media Office, which rarely replies to enquiries from journalists, has been working overtime in the past fortnight, assuring everyone that, basically 'everything is awesome'. A tourist and his father have been arrested in Dubai for posting war videos before the population was ordered to keep them off social media. 'Maybe Dubai just needs a bit of readjustment, and the ridiculous rents and property prices will fall a bit – hopefully not plummet.'

The infinite scroll is likely the main reason you find it so hard to stop scrolling once you begin. First, the infinite scroll takes away a natural stopping point — where you might decide that’s enough social media for today. Now, algorithmic feeds combined with the infinite scroll mean there’s no way to ever be caught up with it all. These include putting mandatory pauses before social media apps open, or applying colour filters (like grayscale) to make apps less appealing. Remove social media appsThis one’s usually met with an audible gasp when I suggest it, but you might find you adapt to not having social media at your fingertips faster than you’d imagine.

We’ve already seen, and lauded, the bigger iX3 electric SUV, a BMW so good that we named it as our Irish Times car of the year back in December. Now, though the same “Neue Klasse” platform (a name plucked, with much significance, from BMW’s history) is going to work under the car that, for many of us, defines what a BMW is, even in the SUV age. Still, it’s possibly the most handsome BMW of recent years, with a sharp-edged look that clearly owes a debt to the 1980s E30 3 Series. Little flicks of LED lights at the outer edge of that grille pay homage to the traditional BMW quad-light look. BMW i3If, after all that, you’re still an electric sceptic then BMW will be keeping petrol-and-hybrid-powered 3 Series, using the platform of the current model, but wearing the skin of this Neue Klasse i3.

Senegal government accuses CAF of ‘corruption’ after AFCON triumph overturnedBy Jamie Gardner, Press Association Chief Sports ReporterThe Senegalese government has accused African football’s governing body of “corruption” after the country was stripped of the continental title they won in January. An appeal board of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has taken the Africa Cup of Nations crown from Senegal and awarded it to Morocco, overturning Senegal’s 1-0 win and imposing a 3-0 defeat instead. Pape Gueye went on to score the winning goal for Senegal in extra time. Barcelona 7 Newcastle 2 (Barcelona win 8-3 on agg)Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski celebrates scoring their sixth goal with Ronald Araujo during their Champions League round of 16 second leg win over Newcastle at the Nou Camp, Barcelona. Anthony Elanga’s first-half brace had cancelled out Raphinha’s early opener and Marc Bernal’s free-header, but Lamine Yamal’s stoppage-time penalty opened the floodgates with Fermin Lopez, Lewandowski and Raphinha again doing the damage. They were back on terms within seven minutes when Jacob Ramsey picked out Lewis Hall and he exchanged passes with Harvey Barnes down the left before sending in a cross which Elanga slotted calmly past goalkeeper Joan Garcia. The Magpies levelled again five minutes later when Yamal's ill-judged back-heel was picked off by Hall, who fed Barnes to cross for Elanga to slide home. The Pole doubled his tally with an emphatic 61st-minute finish after Yamal had bamboozled both Burn and Thiaw, and Raphinha rounded off the scoring after intercepting Ramsey's woeful pass across his own goal.
