They analyzed the rate of premature mortality from 12 years of age onward in association with the number of teen pregnancies. The study, published in JAMA Network Open, included the age and nature of the teen pregnancy (ie, birth, miscarriage, or ectopic pregnancy contrasted with induced abortion), as well as the cause of death. Those who had a teen pregnancy before 16 years of age had the highest incidence rate of premature death. Among those with a teen pregnancy, noninjury-related premature mortality was more common than either unintentional or intentional deaths from injury. Dr. Joel Ray from the University of Toronto said: “This cohort study suggests that teen pregnancy may be a readily identifiable marker for subsequent risk of premature mortality in early adulthood.

Homes across the UK are being left unable to track their energy use, as their suppliers refuse to issue them with replacement in-home displays for their smart meters. Cost of living: Smart meter displays allow users to track their energy usageWhile the smart meter will still be providing readings to the supplier, it means customers without an in-home display are not able to track their energy use in real time. A British Gas spokesperson said: 'We know that smart energy monitors provide a valuable service. Eon said that their in-home displays were 'outside of the 12-month warranty period for replacements'. Nestle is facing a formal demand from some shareholders, including Legal & General, to significantly improve the amount of healthy food the Swiss consumer group sells. In reality three-quarters of Nestle’s global sales are unhealthy products containing high levels of salt, sugar and fats,” said Catherine Howarth, chief executive of ShareAction. Nestle said ShareAction was targeting the wrong company and it would “have to agree to disagree” with the investor coalition. The assertion that 75% of the company’s sales are unhealthy is wrong, said a spokesperson, adding Nestle was the first food company to measure the nutritional value of its entire portfolio against a government-endorsed rating system. Nestle has disagreed with various arguments made by ShareAction, said Pascal Boll, an analyst at Stifel, most notably the claimed fraction of unhealthy food within the company’s portfolio.

The recent injury sustained by regular starter Sione Tuipulotu paved the way for Cam Redpath to make a rare start in last weekend’s damaging 31-29 defeat away to the Azzurri. However, McDowall, who has been in good form for Warriors this term, has been preferred to Redpath, who drops to the bench in one of two changes to the team that started in Rome. The other alteration sees first-choice scrum-half Ben White return in place of George Horne after the Toulon number nine was rested for the match at the Stadio Olimpico. Backs Horne and Redpath both drop to the bench, with head coach Gregor Townsend reverting to a 5/3 split after going with a 6/2 last weekend. Belgium coach Domenico Tedesco offered an update on De Bruyne’s situation at a press conference on Thursday morning. “Kevin De Bruyne will miss this camp due to a groin injury, but the most important thing is that he’ll be back very soon on the pitch and we will have him completely for the Euros. “I think we have a responsibility, not just for the player, also for the team.
