जयदीप कर्णिक, संपादक, अमर उजाला डिजिटल।मीडिया के लिहाज से साल 2023 बहुत ही अहम और महत्वपूर्ण रहा है। वैसे तो हर साल ही मीडिया के लिहाज से महत्वपूर्ण माना जा सकता है लेकिन साल 2023 को हम इस मायने में भी महत्वपूर्ण मान सकते हैं कि कोविड की लहर समाप्त होने के बाद मीडिया ने अपनी आंखें खोली। कोरोना की महामारी के बाद डिजिटल मीडिया को तो मानों जैसे पंख ही लग गए थे। न सिर्फ उपभोक्ताओं की संख्या बढ़ी बल्कि डिजिटल का विस्तार भी काफी तेजी से होने लगा।हालांकि कोरोना महामारी खत्म होने के बाद उपभोक्ताओं की संख्या घटने भी लगी इसलिए साल 2023 डिजिटल मीडिया के लिहाज से काफी चुनौतियों भरा रहा। अगर टीवी की बात करें तो टीवी पत्रकारिता में साल 2023 में न सिर्फ काफी छटनी हुई बल्कि बदलावों के लिहाज से भी काफी परिवर्तन हम लोगों ने देखा। इस साल ऐसा भी महसूस हुआ कि टीवी पत्रकारिता में कहीं न कहीं खर्चे की चिंता बढ़ी। कह सकते हैं कि यहां आय और व्यय का संतुलन बिगड़ता जा रहा है।अगर प्रिंट पत्रकारिता की बात करें तो अखबारों ने साल 2023 में काफी उल्लेखनीय प्रगति की और उनका सरकुलेशन वापस उसी स्तर पर पहुंच गया जिस स्तर पर कोरोना महामारी से पहले हुआ करता था। कुल मिलाकर हम यह कह सकते हैं कि साल 2023 डिजिटल मीडिया, टीवी मीडिया और प्रिंट मीडिया इन तीनों के लिहाज से ही काफी उम्मीद भरा वर्ष रहा लेकिन साल खत्म होते-होते एक नए संक्रमण के दौर से हम गुजर रहे हैं।कोरोना महामारी का संक्रमण तो अब खत्म हो गया लेकिन एक और संक्रमण अब प्रवेश कर चुका है और अगले दो से तीन साल मुझे यह लगता है कि इस संक्रमण के काल होंगे। पिछले एक दशक से मीडिया में जिन बदलावों का हम इंतजार कर रहे थे वह इंतजार खत्म हो गया है और यह एक नया संक्रमण काल जो होगा वह तकनीक के घोड़े पर सवार होगा।हालांकि जितनी तेजी से आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और चैट जीपीटी को लेकर जो हल्ला मचा वह गुब्बारा हम कह सकते हैं की फूट चुका है। क्योंकि कोई भी बदलाव लोगों की जिंदगी को इतना तेजी से प्रभावित नहीं कर पाता जितनी तेजी से उसका दावा किया जाता है। लेकिन कृत्रिम मेधा एक सत्य है जो की आने वाले समय में मनुष्य जीवन को प्रभावित करेगा और मीडिया को खास तौर से बहुत गहरी तरीके से प्रभावित करेगा और उसने प्रभावित करना मुझे लगता है शुरू कर भी दिया है।हालांकि इसकी रफ्तार जितनी तेज आंकी जा रही थी उतनी तेज रफ्तार अभी उसकी नहीं है। मुझे ऐसा भी लगता है की जो लोग आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस को फिलहाल वर्तमान में स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे उन्हें भविष्य में बिल्कुल यह लगेगा कि उन्होंने काफी देर कर दी है। यह संक्रमण अब कई स्तर पर होने वाला है। यह प्रिंट डिजिटल और टीवी तीनों में ही होगा। तीनों ही जगह आपको समय के लिहाज से न्यूज़ रूम को ढालना पड़ेगा।अगले 2 से 3 सालों में हम वह बदलाव देखेंगे जहां संसाधनों को बेहतर तरीके से संयोजित करके कैसे हम ज्यादा तेजी से लोगों तक पहुंच सकते हैं इन चीजों पर विचार होगा। इसके अलावा प्रिंट, डिजिटल और टीवी के समन्वय की बात भी काफी समय से चली आ रही है और इसमें भी उल्लेखनीय प्रगति साल 2024 में देखने को मिल सकती है।अब इन तीनों के समन्वय को टाला नहीं जा सकता और इन्हें अगले दो से तीन साल में हम पूरा होते हुए देखेंगे। मुझे लगता है कि मीडिया के संक्रमण काल की शुरुआत हो चुकी है। कोरोना का संक्रमण चला गया लेकिन बहुत सारे सबक दे गया। यह भी बता गया की बहुत ज्यादा खर्चों के साथ अब न्यूज़ रूम को नहीं चलाया जा सकता। टीवी मीडिया का एक पहलू यह है कि मीडिया में इस वक्त सरकारी खर्चे पर बहुत सारा विज्ञापन आता है और उसी से न्यूज़ चलती है लेकिन यह पहलू बहुत अच्छा नहीं माना जाएगा। मीडिया के लिए इससे निजात पाने की कोशिश भी मीडिया में शुरू हो गई है। यह छटपटाहट रेवेन्यू के आय के नए स्रोत ढूंढने के लिए प्रेरित करेंगे।जो सही तरीके से नवाचार करके अपने आप को उठा पाएगा वही संक्रमण काल के उसे सिरे पर जगमगाते हुए अपने मीडिया हाउस को ले जाता हुआ दिखाई देगा। सभी को नए साल की और इस संक्रमण काल के दौरान अपने आप को बेहतर करने की शुभकामनाएं।
