बारिश और तूफान ने किसानों के अरमानों पर फेरा पानी, आलू, गेहूं समेत चने की फसल बर्बाद, भारी नुकसान का अनुमान
मौसम की मार ने किसानों की साल भर की मेहनत पर पानी फेर दिया है. किसानों का कहना है की गेहूं की फसल चौपट होने की कगार पर पहुंच गई है. उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जिलों में देर रात हुई बेमौसमी बारिश ने किसानों के अरमानों पर पानी फेर दिया है. इससे पहले भी अचानक हुई बारिश ने कई क्षेत्रों में किसानों की खड़ी फसल को नुकसान पहुंचाया था. गेहूं और सरसों की फसल के साथ-साथ उत्तर प्रदेश के बलिया जिले में पैदा होने वाली चना, मटर और आलू की फसलों को भी बारिश से नुकसान पहुंचा है.

Children born in October are more likely to be vaccinated against influenza and less likely to be diagnosed with influenza than children born in other months, according to a US study published in The BMJ. Annual influenza vaccine is especially critical for young children, who are more likely to have the flu and develop a serious condition that requires hospitalisation. To address this, researchers set out to assess the optimal timing of influenza vaccination in young children. Children born in October also had the lowest rate of influenza diagnosis. For example, among children born in August, the average rate of influenza diagnosis across flu seasons studied was 3% compared with 2.7% for children born in October and 2.9 per cent for those born in December.
