The fire, which began around mid-morning on Tuesday, gutted several shops and properties, completely destroying them. Eyewitnesses said the blaze spread rapidly through the densely packed wooden structures before firefighters arrived. He applied for an adjournment to allow the case file to be forwarded to the Ogun State Attorney-General’s Office through the Department of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.
