It was developed in partnership with the AfricaFertilizer.org (AFO), a premier source for fertilizer statistics and information in Africa, of the International Fertilizer Development Centre (IFDC). He said the tool would specifically fill key fertilizer information gaps; provide data to help policy and investment decisions; as well as make up-to-date and comprehensive fertilizer data available to meet the needs of stakeholders. Mr Gyasi said the dashboard would be able to give accurate monthly information on those happenings within the Centre to enable players to be properly informed, especially at the policy level. The launch would be attended by major stakeholders, including officials from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, COCOBOD, AGRA, USAID, other development partners, as well as fertilizer producing companies.

Emmanuel Agyekum, aka Donkor, told the Police that the complainant, Mr Samuel Kweku Adila, was chasing his girlfriend. He pleaded guilty with explanation on the charge of causing unlawful damage to a room and its content. The Court, presided over by Madam Sedinam Awo Balokah, after listening to Agyekum’s explanation, said his explanation confirmed his guilt. Madam Sullivan toured the new Centre in Kumasi, in the company of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr Simon Osei-Mensah, and the Ghana Health Service Director General, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye. It said as seen throughout the pandemic, a command and control centre that included relevant health system stakeholders was essential for the effective coordination of COVID-19 response strategies. The statement said a PHEOC served as the central command centre and brought together important stakeholders and experts for coordinated responses to public health events and threats like COVID-19, polio, and Ebola. It said the Ashanti, Northern and Western regional PHEOCs were the result of collaboration between the Ghana Health Service, Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, the Korean International Cooperation Agency, and the CDC.
