Speaking from their London location, after the 16-day journey, Saka told TV3 Newday that there were a lot of people who did not believe in them, and as such, tried to discourage them. He explained that one of those people, without mentioning names, was a person who is a government official. The team started their journey on July 23, 2023, and arrived in London on Sunday, August 6, 2023, after completing the historic 10,000km feat. Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has lamented the poor state of the Ghanaian media and the poor conditions of service of its practitioners, demanding that concrete steps be taken to better the lot of the media such as improved conditions of service and protection of journalists. It’s not only the fear and the intimidation, or the attacks and violence against media personnel but the working environment of the Media personnel . “If the media is that important, how come the country has not come out to clearly spell out some conditions of service, even if it’s minimal for the media personnel? And there is the need for us to relook at the welfare and conditions of service of the media practitioner,” he advocated. Ghanaian Journalists and other practitioners have been the subject of physical and verbal attacks, especially in recent times.

According to the documents, on October 4, 2022, Cecilia Dapaah warned one of her domestic staff members not to enter certain rooms in the house during her work. However, on October 6, 2022, the staff member managed to enter a room and was caught by Dapaah's husband, Daniel Kuffuor. The police then took a statement from the juvenile suspect, and charges were filed accordingly. Highlights of the minister’s presentation included the revision of government’s appropriation downwards from GH¢227.7 billion as presented and approved in November 2022 to GH¢206.0 billion. The minister while announcing no new tax measures also told parliament that government was not going to require a supplement to the budget. On the issue of the performance of the economy, Mr Ofori-Atta while admitting to the challenges faced by the economy announced that the country has made a significant turn towards recovery. On Sunday, August 6, 2023, Mr Ofori-Atta appeared as a guest of state broadcaster GBC’s Talking Point program where he discussed further contents of the mid-year budget and key economic issues.

News that a driver has been sentenced to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour for cursing a police officer with the dreaded Antoa deity has been widely condemned by many, especially social media users. The court found him guilty of “offensive conduct contrary to section 207 of the Criminal Offence Act 29/60”. According to the judgement, the driver showed no remorse after explaining the circumstances under which he invoked the curses on the plaintiff. Accused is sentenced to 12 months in high,” the verdict read. The decision of the court has angered many on social media users.

The suspect was apprehended after he nicodemously killed, beheaded, and buried the 7-year-old in a bush. Bursting into tears, Augustine confessed to killing young Sandy Manu for the purpose of money rituals. The suspect visited a spiritualist, who requested the head of his niece and that was when he beheaded her. In a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb, the driver of a Kia Morning car is said to have thrown out a cake belonging to the passengers following a confrontation over fares. Narrating the incident in the viral video, one of the passengers alleged that they had gone out for a birthday celebration and ordered the service of the driver. A distance away from their destination, the driver refused to continue the journey citing the bad state of the road. However, the driver incensed by their demand rather smashed their birthday cake on the road.
