Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinees in Dhaka battle heavy rain to reach their exam centres on Sunday morning. The total number of examinees in the eight other General Education Boards, the Madrasa Education Board, and the Technical Education Board stands at 1,368,373. The authorities should have thought about the exam schedule at this time of the year. Since 2010, the SSC and HSC exams have been held in the first week of February and the first week of April respectively. Due to the global crisis, students were awarded certificates without taking the HSC exam in 2020.

"Biman will have a fleet of 47 aircraft by 2034. Therefore, we need to add32 new aircraft over the next decade to achieve our expansion plan," he said. "Biman Bangladesh Airlines aims to be 100 percent free from the problem ofunavailable tickets online despite empty seats on flights," he said. Recently, Biman sent a letter to all Passenger Service Agents (PSAs),expressing concern over agents undercutting or overpricing tickets throughtheir own web portals.

Fourth of July brings back memories of becoming a U.S. citizen 20 years ago
I came to this country from India as a 10-year-old, accompanying my parents and my 2-year-old brother, in 1993. I was already a yoga teacher myself, trained especially in kids’ yoga, but I wanted to learn from others. I’m grateful for my ability to meet diverse people in America who deepen my own practice and understanding of yoga every day. This upcoming Independence Day, I thank the immigration officer who inspired me with his message 20 years ago.
