Quảng Ninh economy maintains growth in 2023

Top 100 Vietnam Best Places to Work announced
HCM CITY — Anphabe, the consulting firm that provides Employer Brand and Happy Workforce solutions, has announced the annual list of Top 100 Vietnam Best Places to Work for 2023. The rankings are based on the findings of the independent Vietnam Best Places to Work survey, which polled 63,878 experienced workers from 18 industry groups and 9,638 students from 113 universities. Nestlé Vietnam gained top spot in the large enterprises category followed by Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage, Vingroup, ACECOOK Vietnam, AEON Vietnam, DHG Pharmaceutical JSC, CJ Foods Vietnam, and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank. PepsiCo Foods Vietnam Company topped the medium enterprises category, followed by JOLLIBEE Vietnam, Generali Vietnam Life Insurance, BMB STEEL, JABIL Vietnam, McDonald’s Vietnam, IMEXPHARM Corporation, and ADP Group. In the category of Top 50 Best Employer of Choice by Vietnam Students, the winners were Nestlé Vietnam (third consecutive year), PepsiCo Foods Vietnam Company (third consecutive year), AEON Vietnam (second consecutive year), ACECOOK Vietnam (third consecutive year), and Honda Vietnam (third consecutive year).

Cashew industry moves to maintain world's top spot

The number of Vietnamese partners on Amazon has increased by 40%, accompanied by a 50% growth in export value. Similarly, Alibaba.com, a prominent e-commerce platform, reported that Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises experienced a significant expansion of nearly 50% in trans-border e-commerce trade value during the first nine months of 2023. The resolution pointed out the general goals of Vietnam’s socio-economic development next year. They are urged to strive to successfully implement the 2024 socio-economic development plan, which will create favourable momentum for the country to achieve the targets set in the five-year development plan in the 2021-2025 period./.

Vietnam spends 4.27 billion USD importing animal feed and raw materials in the first 10 months of this year (Photo: congthuong.vn)– Vietnam spent a total of 4.27 billion USD importing animal feed and raw materials in the first 10 months of this year, down 5.2% year-on-year, according to the Vietnam Customs In October alone, the import value reached 451.5 million USD, up 7.5% month-on-month and 12.6% year-on-year.With 1.21 billion USD in the January-October period, Argentina was Vietnam’s biggest exporter of animal feed and raw materials, accounting for 28.2% of the Southeast Asian country’s total import value of these products. It was followed by Brazil (19.1%), and the US (14.1%).In the period, Vietnam spent 261 million USD buying animal feed and raw materials from the Southeast Asian market, down 15% year-on-year./.
