Police are searching for a man accused of fatally shooting a 20-year-old mother and her 4-month-old son while they were sitting in their car in Hartford, Connecticut, on Tuesday, in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, according to police. A warrant has been issued for 23-year-old Lance "Macho" Morales, according to Hartford police. Israeli eVTOL Maker Sues DJI for Alleged Patent Infringement
A patent lawsuit, Urban Aeronautics Limited vs. Shenzhen DJI Sciences and Technologies LTD, was filed earlier this month in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The suit alleges that high-end DJI drones sold in the U.S. — including the DJI Matrice, Matrice 300, Matrice 350 and FlyCart 3 – infringe on Urban Aeronautics’ patent for Three-Propeller Emergency Landing (TPEL) capabilities. “Urban Aeronautics believes in a strong international patent system that fosters innovation and investment. International intellectual property laws encourage the development and licensing of valuable contributions across technical disciplines, benefiting individuals, industries and society as a whole,” Urban Aeronautics CEO Eran Ron said in an email statement. Urban Aeronautics has been developing its prototype aerial vehicles since 2006 and to date has conducted more than 300 successful test flights.

California judge ‘troubled’ by Danny Masterson’s attorneys tracking down jurors after rape trial
Last week, prosecutors asked Olmedo to hold a hearing to consider sanctioning Masterson’s attorneys. The motion named Holley, her co-counsel Phillip Cohen and two other attorneys working for Masterson, Clifford Gardner and Eric Multhaup. Holley said she’d done nothing wrong and is no longer directly involved in Masterson’s case. Masterson’s case has been marked by repeated allegations of attorney misconduct and outside interference. Neither Olmedo’s order nor the prosecution’s sanction motion mentioned the church in relation to the incidents with the jurors.

“We have to look into the mirror and really reflect on what happened more broadly.”Some Democrats say California politics are part of the the problem. It was too liberal even for many California voters. The California Democratic Party and Newsom opposed Proposition 36, a statewide ballot measure to increase penalties for repeat theft and drug crimes. Horn and others say California Democrats should continue to stick up for their values. But if the state party sees itself as a leader for the party nationally, then they may need to refocus their messaging.
