Eight in ten Black Friday ‘deals’ the same price or even CHEAPER at other times of year
Eight in 10 Black Friday deals are the same price or even cheaper at other times of the year, a new report by Which? found that 94% of the products it analysed were the same price or cheaper at other times of the year. It was cheaper than its Black Friday price 47 times after the sale with a lowest price of £369. At Very, 93% of deals were the same price or cheaper outside of the Black Friday sales period. However some items did drop in price after the event and there were times before Black Friday where shoppers could have paid the same as the sales price.

Morgan Geyser, 'Slender Man' stabber, captured after fleeing custody
Geyser was found with a man at the truck stop just outside of Chicago - and about 170 miles south of Madison - after police received reports of a man and woman loitering. CBS News, the BBC's US partner, reported the 42-year-old companion was charged with trespassing and obstructing identification and later released. The so-called "Slender Man stabbing" shocked Wisconsin and garnered national attention. Geyser and her friend Anissa Weier, also 12 at the time of the attack, lured a classmate to a park after a sleepover and Geyser stabbed the classmate repeatedly while Weier encouraged her to continue. Weier was charged with attempted murder and sentenced to 25 years in a psychiatric hospital but released in 2021.

Volcanic ash plumes: Carriers cancel flights; DGCA issues advisory to airlines, airports
"Following recent volcanic activity in Ethiopia and the resulting ash plume in the surrounding airspace, our flights to and from Jeddah, Kuwait, and Abu Dhabi scheduled for 24th and 25th November 2025 have been cancelled," Akasa Air said in a statement.The airline also said its teams will continue to assess the situation in compliance with international aviation advisories and safety protocols and take necessary actions as required. "Following the recent eruption of the #HayliGubbi volcano in #Ethiopia, ash clouds are reported to be drifting towards parts of western India. We understand that such news may cause concern, and we want to reassure you that your safety remains our highest priority. "Our teams are closely tracking the situation in coordination with international aviation bodies. We are fully prepared with all necessary precautions to ensure safe and reliable operations," IndiGo said in a post on X.Sources said IndiGo cancelled some flights to the Middle East and Dutch carrier KLM cancelled its flight from Amsterdam to Delhi due to the volcanic ash plume issue.
