Experienced Tasana shows class in ninth WBC Asia defenceTasana Salapat, right, and Mark Antonio fight during the WBC Asia bantamweight title bout. Both losses came in world title challenges, most recently against three division world champion Junto Nakatani in 2024. In the sixth round, a clash of heads resulted in a deep cut over Tasana's right eye, a common risk when a left handed fighter faces an orthodox opponent. The victory marked his ninth defence of the WBC Asia bantamweight title and kept him firmly positioned at No.12 in the WBC world rankings. What is clear is that Tasana remains within striking distance of world title contention.

During a policy speech last , she said that she hoped "discussions will deepen on how to ensure stable imperial succession... leading toward the revision of the Imperial House Law". Traditionalists have asserted that the "unbroken imperial line" of male succession is the foundation of Japan, and major changes would divide the nation.

French authorities began investigating the late Egyptian businessman and his brother Salah last year amid allegations of a vast system of sex trafficking and abuse on French soil. The French investigation, however, is handled by "a unit specialised in human trafficking", she told AFP. A polling unit staffer holds up a party-list ballot during the vote count at a station in Bangkok on Feb 8. Of the ballots cast, 35,030,601, or 92.65%, were valid; 1,669,006, or 4.41%, were spoiled, and 1,108,051, or 2.93%, selected no party. In the constituency contests, 37,807,778 voters cast ballots. A small discrepancy between party-list and constituency totals was attributed to some out-of-constituency and overseas ballot envelopes not containing both ballot types, it said. Separately, the EC released results of the referendum, in which 58.64% of voters were in favour of drafting a new constitution, 30.46% supported keeping the existing constitution and 8.34% abstained.

Melania's visit comes as the president spearheads his "Board of Peace" initiative, which some critics have said is a way to circumvent the UN Security Council.

The title might suggest an introduction to crime, or, for those versed in US culture, a crime film set near US Route 101 in Los Angeles. The latter is correct: Bart Layton's Crime 101 (2026) is a highly stylised thriller that explores the lives of people from different walks of life in the city by the sea. A Mann‑esque crime thriller, Crime 101 is in many ways similar to Michael Mann's 1995 Heat, a critically acclaimed crime drama. Mark Ruffalo as detective Lou in Crime 101 (2026). Barry Keoghan as Ormon in Crime 101 (2026).
