Fifty years ago, Mercedes-Benz pulled the wraps off one of the coolest cars it has ever built: the 300 SEL 6.3. Yet in some respects the ingredients in the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ are not dramatically different from Grandad SEL. The 300 SEL made 213kW/541Nm, while the E 63 S 4Matic+ pumps out 450kW/850Nm and gets to 100kmh in nearly half the time.
