The Central Committee for Local Government Elections announced on Tuesday the reopening of the voter registration in 17 municipalities. The process will be launched in several municipalities including, Misurata, Sabratha, Al-Khoms, Msallata, Jufra, Tarhouna, southern Zawiya, Kufra, Ghat, in addition to cities of the Mountain Region, including, Asbi'ah, Al-Haraba, Kikla, Kabao, and others, according to the committee's Facebook. It further explained that the method of registration will be via the SMS service by sending the National Identification Number and the electoral centre to a specified number assigned for this purpose.
