The Jumhouria Bank has issued a warning after a fraudulent app, impersonating its name and logo, was spotted on social media platforms. In a statement on Facebook, the bank urged customers to exercise extreme caution and avoid downloading or using any unofficial apps claiming to be affiliated with the bank. The bank said such apps could put users’ bank accounts at risk of hacking and theft of personal and financial information. Customers are advised to download the official app only from trusted stores and not to share sensitive information through suspicious links. The bank stressed it cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from the use of unverified applications.
