Field Marshal Mohammed Al-Haddad, along with his companions; Chief of Staff adviser Mohammed Al-Issawi and media office member Mohammed Al-Mahjoub's funeral was held at the Misrata Sports City complex, amid a large official, military, and popular turnout. On Saturday, Misrata had witnessed the reception of the remains of Al-Haddad and his companions at the Air College headquarters. Misrata Municipality also declared Sunday an official holiday to allow citizens to participate in the funeral and memorial services. Lieutenant General Al-Faitouri Ghreibeel was also laid to rest in a funeral held in the Qasr bin Ghashir area, attended by official and military figures. He announced measures to honor the martyrs, including the posthumous promotion of Al-Haddad to the rank of Field Marshal and the promotion of the remaining martyrs to the next higher ranks, in recognition of their sacrifices.
