Days after His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto agreed to meet former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga to have a talk for the sake of the country, a list has emerged of those who helped convince him easen his hard stance. According to the Standard newspaper, six key leaders were involved in the high profile meeting that saw both Raila Odinga and William Ruto meet. Surprisingly, there was only one Member of Parliament from the Mt Kenya region who is the Kikuyu Constituency MP Kimani Ichung'wah. Others were from His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto's Rift Valley backyard among them Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry Roads, Transport and Infrastructure CS Kipchumba Murkomen. From Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance was the former Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho, Raila Odinga's advisor professor Makau Mutua and Suna East constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Junet Mohamed.
