President, Goa Forward, Prabhakar Timble also lashed out at the BJP government for not dropping the minister from the cabinet. "If Tawadkar doesn't resign, the chief minister should sack him," the Goa Forward head said. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Goa Forward have demanded that state sports minister Ramesh Tawadkar , chargesheeted by Goa police on Friday for allegedly releasing two persons accused of smuggling liquor from the custody of the forest department in 2009, resign from his post at the earliest. Sandesh Telekar, AAP coordinator for Canacona, said any other minister in a similar position would either have resigned, or have been sacked by the CM, given the seriousness of the charges against Tawadkar. So how could it not react to the chargesheet filed against its minister," asked Timble.
