It marks one of the biggest roadworks projects ongoing in the city centre and is designed to rapidly improve public transport times on one of the busiest roads in the city. Once the Skehard Road upgrade is completed, there will be a single, continuous bus lane from the city centre to Mahon, slashing journey times for bus users.
