The suit stems from a video posted on Blakk Rasta’s social media pages, Blakk Empire Media, on December 15, 2025, titled “Shatta Wale, self-confessed king of fraud.”In the statement of claim, Shatta Wale argued that the comments made in the video were false, malicious, and intended to harm his reputation. Shatta Wale maintains that the statements portrayed him as a fraudster, thief, and morally corrupt figure, allegations he strongly denies. He further stated that Blakk Rasta accused him of associating with known fraudsters and permitting stolen funds to be routed through his bank accounts, allegations the musician insists are defamatory. The plaintiff, (Shatta Wale), is asking the court to declare the statements defamatory, order Blakk Rasta to permanently remove the video and related content from all social media platforms, and restrain him from making further defamatory publications.
