The deceased, Abdul Gafur, 14, was the son of Faruk Hossain of Bagachhara village under Bhayana union in Harinakundu upazila. Police said after offering Eid prayers in the morning, Abdul Gafur went out with his friends. On the way, when they reached Nagarbathan Bazar in Jhenaidah Sadar, Abdul Gafur fell down from the moving vehicle in the road and sustained serious injuries. His classmates later rescued him and rushed him to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital in critical condition. Duty doctors at Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital said he died due to lung injuries caused by falling onto the road from a moving vehicle.
