Prime Minister Tarique Rahman -File photoDHAKA, March 21, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister Tarique Rahman celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with his family members at his Gulshan residence in the capital today. He had lunch with his family members and close relatives, including his aunts and uncles, and shared moments with them during the day, said Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman. Earlier, the Prime Minister offered Eid prayers at the National Eidgah and exchanged greetings with people from all walks of life, including foreign diplomats and dignitaries, at the State Guest House Jamuna here. Then he along with his family members went to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital and offered ziarat at the graves of his father Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and mother former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. After returning from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar to his Gulshan residence, the Prime Minister exchanged Eid greetings with officials and staff.
