Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir -File PhotoDHAKA, Mar 21, 2026 (BSS) - Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir today said that the government will ensure the rights of every citizen to fulfil the expectations of the people and continue its efforts to take the country to the highest level of development. “Every citizen’s rights will be ensured to meet public expectations. The commerce minister made the remarks while talking to journalists after offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the historic Shahi Eidgah ground in Sylhet this morning. Khandaker Abdul Muktadir said the people elected the government with sky-high expectations and it is working day and night under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to fulfil those hopes and aspirations, said a Commerce Ministry press release. “We are committed to moving the country forward in a united manner under the Prime Minister’s dynamic leadership,” he added.
