The Regina Pats concluded a four-game Alberta road trip on Sunday with one of their most-lopsided losses of the season. Regina gave up a season-high seven goals and was pounded 7-1 by the Edmonton Oil Kings to finish the trip with a 1-3-0 record, dropping to 6-17-2-0 overall. The Pats were playing their third game in three days and their fourth contest in five nights. Despite the fatigue factor, head coach Dave Struch felt like his team played much better than the score indicated. Backup goalie Donovan Buskey, making just his second start of the campaign, took the loss for the Pats.
