The RTI bill, when it becomes law, will foster a culture of transparency and accountability in public affairs. “It’s been a long journey,” said Kweku Baako while commending Parliament and the New Patriotic Party (NPP). According to him, “I am confident that this country will make it step by step especially as we have committed ourselves to the democratic dispensation”. About RTIThe RTI is a fundamental human right guaranteed by the country’s 1992 Constitution and recognized as a right under International Conventions on Human rights.
