SEGAMAT: A python weighing 150kg believed to be responsible for killing two goats previously has been captured by the authorities. Segamat Civil Defence Force officer Leftenant Mohd Nazlan Ruslan said the 5m-long reptile was reported by a resdent at Kampung Pudu, Batu Anam here at around 2.35pm on Sunday (Nov 20). “The snake was resting after having just fed on a kid when we found it. Mohd Nazlan said villagers believe that the snake also ate two goats before the incident. He added that the snake was handed over to the Segamat Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan).
