27 unhygienic eateries in Seremban get clean-up order


SEREMBAN: Twenty-seven eatery owners and operators have been ordered by Negeri Sembilan Health Department to close for two weeks and clean up their premises. He said the 27 food premises were among 59 inspected by 42 district health officers in a nine-hour operation from 9 am on Wednesday. “From January till September this year, 5,675 food premises were inspected, with 125 issued the temporary closure order. Dr Zainudin said 6,358 food premises were inspected throughout 2016, with 124 ordered to close temporarily. A total of 737 notices under Section 32B were issued to owners and operators of food premises, involving RM260,550 in compounds, he added.
