KEMAMAN: Police are looking for a couple who carted away a Tahfiz donation box placed near the counter at a petrol station in Kerteh on Sunday evening. District police chief Superintendent Mohd Said Ibrahim said that in the 2pm incident the couple approached the cashier and the woman made a payment for some items she had purchased. Said said the images of the couple in their 30's and 40's which were captured on the station's CCTV showed while the cashier attended to the wife, the man carted away the donation box and escaped the scene. "A report was lodged at the Kerteh police station by one of the kiosk assistants the same day," he said. Those with information about the couple were urged to call the nearest police station.
