SHAH ALAM: The Selangor police have sent 19 of its Strategic Resources and Technology Department (StaRT) staff to participate in the industry-oriented National Dual Training System (SLDN) programme. He said the eight-month programme (July 7, 2017 to March 5, 2018) includes technical competency and social skills training. “10 trainers from Proton will train our 19 StaRT personnel. SLDN is an industry-oriented training programme that combines workplace and institutional training. Proton chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Fuaad Kenali said with the training, police personnel will have increased knowledge and skills on Proton cars.
