Poland's defence ministry is launching free self-defence classes for women nationwide. The initiative begins on 19 November and will run until mid-2017, and aims to teach women the basics of unarmed combat. He said women's self-defence classes should be run by the police, and not the military. All participants need to have medical insurance and a letter freeing the defence ministry from injury claims.
