The complaint by Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture A. Manju against Hassan Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri Dasari, who is also the district election officer, has been found to be baseless. His complaint had come after the district administration had filed a case against him for alleged violation of the model code of conduct. Ms. Dasari, however, had refuted his charge before the Regional Commissioner, Mysuru division. On Friday, the Chief Electoral Officer told The Hindu that they had received the inquiry report from the Regional Commissioner. “All charges against her are baseless,” Mr. Kumar said.
