Debraj DebAgartala: Ever since the BJP-IPFT combine came to power, relentless attacks have taken place against opposition trade union supporters, former transport minister and Centre of Indian Trade Union (Citu) state president Manik De said here on Friday. De said widespread violence had "terrorised leaders and supporters of Citu and its sub-ordinate organisations" since March 3 when the poll results were announced. But intensity of attacks are increasing by the day". "We are a legal trade union. CPM politburo leaders Sitaram Yechury and Prakash Karat earlier accused theBJP and the ruling alliance partner, Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT), of "widespread violence".
