After having closed-door parleys with senior leaders of the party in Hubballi, Mr. Shah flew to Kittur in Belagavi district by a helicopter to offer floral tribute to Rani Chennamma, who fought against the British. At an interaction with presspersons at Kittur, he first recalled the fight of Chennamma and then dedicated the remaining time to lambast Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He then flew to Nandgad in Khanapur taluk to garland the statue of Sangolli Rayanna, the close aide of Chennamma. Yeddyurappa the Chief Minister and to open this gateway, you all must work tirelessly,” he told them. Mr. Shah then flew back to Belagavi district to hold a road show in Gokak.
