Police have confirmed a man is dead and two others were injured after a two vehicles crashed near Invercargill yesterday. Police said emergency services were called to Bay Rd just before 8.30pm last night. A woman from the same vehicle as the deceased man was taken to Southland Hospital in a stable condition, police said. "Another man from the other vehicle was taken to hospital in a critical condition." The Serious Crash Unit will investigate the cause of the crash.
